Admission procedure :
1. The completed application form with enclosures should be submitted to the university office. Cost of application and prospectus : Rs. 2000/

2. (a)Students will be admitted to the PG|Medical Degree/Diploma Course based on their performance in the Written Entrance Examination to be conducted by the University. The examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering the subjects of Basic Sciences including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology and of Clinical Sciences Including Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Community Medicine, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis and Radio-therapy.
(b) Students will be admitted to the PG Dental course of any specialty based on their performance in the written entrance \ examination to be conducted by the university. The examination will consist of multiple choice questions covering the subjects of basic sciences including generalanatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, Microbiology and clinical subjects General Medicine, Generalsurgery, Anesthesiology, Oral Pathology, Oral Surgery and and Dental subjects
3. For eligibility for selection Students belonging to General category should Secure a minimum of 50% marks and other category Students should secure a minimum of 40% marks.
4. Selected candidates must pay fees by demand draft drawn in favor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth payable at Pondicherry as detailed in the admission letter on or before the date mentioned therein, failing which the selection will automatically stand cancelled.
5. Students selected for Pre&Paraclinical Departments shall execute a bond for agreeing to work in the University for a minimum period of one year after passing the examination
6. Last date for receiving application : Medical – 18.01.2016 : Dental – 18.01.2016
7. Date and Time of Entrance Exam : Medical -24.01.2016 (1030AM to 01.30PM)

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATE :
** The Hall Ticket is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to take the test
** Candidates presenting themselves 30 minutes after the commencement of the test shall not be admitted to the examination hall
** Candidates are requested to bring HB Pencil, Sharpener, Eraser, Blue Ballpen, Etc.
** The issue of Hall Ticket is an enabling provision for taking the Common Entrance Test 2016 and does not mean that the candidate satisfies all the requirements to be eligible for seeking admission to the course.
** The decision on the eligibility of the candidate for admission to the course rests entirely with the university.
** Possession of incriminating material or devices inside the hall, or communicating / gesturing with any other student inside / outside the hall will be viewed very seriously and such candidates will be sent out.
** Cell phones or any kind of mobile or electronic devices are not allowed inside the Examination Hall.
JOINT DECLARATION BY THE APPLICANT AND PARENT/GUARDIAN :
** All Information furnished herein are true and correct to the best of our knowledge. All Original Certificates will be produced at the time of admission. On selection, in case any information furnished is found to be false / incorrect, we will forfeit the admission/seat,no matter whatever be the stage of study.
** If admitted, we agree to be bound by the rules and regulations of our College/University now in force and those to be made from time to time. We will make good the loss or damage to properties of the Institution caused by us.
** We accept that the entire course is Residential only.
** We also promise that we will not do any act either inside or outside the Institution that will interfere with its discipline or jeopardize its reputation.
** We accept all decisions of the authorities in all matters of training, conduct, examinations and discipline with no right of questioning in any court of law.
** We accept that we will not claim refund of tuition fees or any other fee under any circumstances, fully aware of the norms that there is no provision for replacement. We accept that the Caution Deposit/ Hostel Deposit paid during admission will not be refunded in the middle or adjusted against any other dues.
** We will not ask for transfer from one college to another.
** We accept that if my son/daughter/ward wishes to leave the Institution/Course, under any circumstances, for whatever reason after admission, we will pay all the Tuition Fees in its entirety for the entire duration of the course before the issue of transfer certificate to any other college. We understand that the College/University/Hostel does not bear any responsibility for any student or for any incident or mishap or event involving them outside the Institution Campus and Hostel.
** We confirm and accept that we are joining this institution on our own willingness. We accept that any amount paid to Institution is strictly non-refundable. We will not claim any compensation or refund of any amount paid by us in any case, including not joining or discontinuation of the course.
** We accept and undertake that my son/daughter will not indulge in ragging. On selection, we will submit a separate undertaking regarding ragging as required by Dr. R. K. Raghavan Committee and we agree to strictly abide by the same.
** If selected, we assure that my son/daughter will not participate in activity including online or on social networks that will jeopardize and harm the reputation of the Institution and University.
** We assure that my son/daughter, on selection, will not participate in any strike or activity disrupting studies and academic activities.
