Q. Is the Entrance Test open only to Karnataka students?
A. No, this test is open to all the eligible students in the country.

Q. Which candidates are eligible to get the benefit of lower eligibility in qualifying marks?
A. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST), candidates with locomotor disability irrespective of their state of origin. Other Backward Castes (OBC) candidates from Karnataka only can avail the benefit, provided the certificate, as applicably, issued by competent authorities is furnished in support of the claim.
Q. What is the Entrance Test / Application Fees and how to pay the same?
A. The BLDEU-PGET-2016 Test / Application fees is Rs.4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand only). It can be paid ONLINE (Internet banking, Credit Cards and Debit Cards) and also through Demand Draft in favour of “The Registrar, BLDE University, payable at Vijayapur (Bijapur) 586103, Karnataka.
Q. What is the last date to submit the application?
A. All filled in applications with necessary enclosures must reach the office of BLDE University on or before 5.30 pm of 21st December 2015. Applications received after the stipulated date and time will not be considered.
Q. What is the procedure of selection?
A. For the academic year 2016-2017, selection of seats for the Post Graduate courses will be based on merit, taking into account the performance of the candidate in BLDEU-PGET-2016. Entrance test & publication of rank list will be followed by central counseling (Single window system). The details of the arrangements made, will be available in due course 1on our website bldeuniversity.ac.in.
Q. How will I know my test results?
A. The results will be published on the website bldeuniversity.ac.in.
Q. Can I send a black & white photograph?
A. No, All the Photographs should be Identical, Passport size, Sharp and Clear in Colour and less than 6 months old.
Q. Application should be addressed to and sent to whom?
A. Applications complete in all respect must be addressed and sent to To, The Registrar, BLDE UNIVERSITY, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103. Karnataka State, India.
The MCI norms to qualify for PGET & Admissions :
** Candidates seeking admission to these Post Graduate Degree courses should have passed M.B.B.S. recognised by Medical Council of India or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent Registration from the Medical Council of India or any of the State/ Medical council or candidate should register the same within one month from the date of admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
** Provided that in the case of a foreign national, the MCI may on the payment of prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of post graduate training restricted to the medical college/ institute to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for post graduate studies; provided further, that temporary registration to such foreign national shall be subjected to the condition that such person is duly registered as medical practioner in his own country from which the applicant has obtained his/her basic medical qualification and that his/her degree is recognized by the corresponding medical council or respective competent authority.
** If the candidate fails to fulfill the relevant eligibility requirements as mentioned above he/she will not be considered eligible for admission for Medical Postgraduate Degree and Diploma Courses even if he/she is placed in the merit list of BLDEU-PGET-2016. The candidates are advised not to submit their applications for BLDEU-PGET 2016, if they do not fulfill any one or all the relevant eligibility criteria.
** Rank list/ Rank Card will be prepared only for those candidates who are eligible for Post Graduate Courses as per the regulations of Medical Council of India.
Note:
** Change of category status like SC, ST, Karnataka OBC, or locomotor disability will not be entertained during the process. As such students are cautioned to declare their status while filling the application.
** If the candidate is unable to satisfy the requirements for status of SC, ST or Karnataka OBC or locomotor disability he/she will be considered under general category.
** Candidate should attach self attested copy of respective category certificate along with application form.
