One-Year Full-Time Executive Postgraduate Programme in Business Management (EMBA-BM) Admission Procedure for Batch 2016-17

Eligibility:
The minimum requirements for admission to the Programme are:
a) a three-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university, with at least 55% marks in aggregate;
b) At least three years of experience in executive capacity in an organization of repute in the public, private or non-governmental sector. Self-employed persons with minimum 3 years of experience after obtaining qualifying degree can also be considered;
c) Minimum age of 23 years as on 01.07.2016;
d) Sponsorship or No Objection Certificate from the employer for pursuing this course at XIMB.
Admission Test :
Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests:
a) XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on 3 January, 2016, or b) CAT to be conducted by IIMs on 29 November 2015, or c) GMAT taken in 2014 or 2015 (minimum score for applying 550), or d) X-GMAT to be conducted by Xavier University Bhubaneswar on 10 January 2016. Applicants opting for XAT/CAT have to follow XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB, if not opting for X-GMAT.
How to Apply:
Applicants have to fill up the online application form separately for XIMB programme at ximb.ac.in Upon successfully filling the online application form and paying the relevant application fee, the applicant will be intimated by email about the acceptance of the form, followed by admission bulletin 2016 by post/courier.
The last date for applying online is December 7, 2015.
SELECTION PROCESS :
Eligible candidates will be called for Personal Interview session at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai. Screening for interviews will be based on a candidate’s past academic performance and relevant work experience and CAT/XAT/GMAT/X-GMAT scores. Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses.
PROGRAMME DESIGN :
This one-year full-time Executive MBA programme is specifically designed for working executives and practicing managers, and is as rigorous as the two-year full-time MBA programme. The programme consists of 4 Terms, and the participants will be in the campus for about one academic year.
PROGRAMME FEE :
The total programme fee will be Rs.14 lakhs, to be paid in 3 installments (7, 3.5, 3.5 lakhs respectively). The boarding and lodging charges will be additional.
