ECET-2015 :
A Common Entrance Test designated in full as Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders and for B.Sc.(Mathematics) Degree Holders and in short as ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]-2015 will be conducted by JNT University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for the academic year 2015-2016 for B.Sc.(Mathematics) degree holders

(i) For lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.E. and B.Tech Courses in All India Council for Technical Education approved Un-Aided Private Professional institutions (Minority & non-Minority).
(ii) For admission through Common Entrance Test into 1st year Regular BE and B. Tech Courses in University Engineering Colleges for the seats specifically earmarked for Diploma holders and B.Sc degree holders.
(iii) For lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year Regular B. Pharmacy Courses in both University and private un-Aided professional institutions (Minority & Non-Minority) approved by Pharmacy Council of India.

Eligibility to appear for the Entrance Test :
Candidates should satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for appearing at the ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]-2015.
(i) They should be of Indian Nationality.
(ii) They should belong to the State of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/nonlocal status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended. The same is adapted to the state of Telangana G.O.Ms. 33 dated 31.12.2014
(iii) They should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering / Technology/ Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana State/Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh as equivalent there to for admission into the relevant B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Pharmacy courses into the Courses corresponding to the Diplomas as given in the Annexure. (OR) They should have passed the 3-year B.Sc Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh state or its equivalent for entry into relevant courses as given in the following Annexure.
(iv) Candidates who are pursuing a Diploma course shall be eligible for entry into the relevant B.E./B.Tech./B. Pharmacy courses provided they have completed the practical training prescribed for the award of diploma course before admission into the college.
(v) Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering /Technology/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc.(Maths) Degree as the case may be with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) for entry into relevant courses.

Eligibility for admission into B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm.:
(1) For lateral admission through common entrance test into 2nd year regular B.E. / B.Tech. Courses in both University and Un-aided Private Professional Institutions (Minority & Non-Minority). Approved by All India Council for Technical Education
(2) For lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year Regular B. Pharmacy Courses in both University and private un-Aided professional institutions (Minority & Non-Minority) approved by Pharmacy Council of India.

Important Instructions to TSECET-2015 Candidates :
1) Candidates who wish to apply for TSECET-2015 are requested to fill the particulars carefully in ONLINE APPLICATION. The required information should be collected from the relevant documents.
2) All the candidates have to come to the Examination hall with a printout of Online submitted application. The candidate has to affix the passport size photograph (should be same as that of uploaded) duly signed by Gazatted Officer.
3) Candidates are not admitted to the examination after 10.00 A.M. and not permitted to leave the hall before 1.00 P.M.
4) It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they are answering the correct Question Booklet of the branch for which they are eligible for admission.
5) The Question booklet code, Hall Ticket Number and other details must be entered correctly and properly on the OMR Answer Sheet, in the Test. Other wise ranks declared, if any wil be cancelled subsequently in such cases.
6) Candidates must return both Question Paper Booklet Acknowledgement slip and OMR Answer Sheet after the test.
7) Question paper will be in English only.

9) Other Information required for filling Online Application

10) It is advised to reach your allotted Examination Center well before commencement of the examination so that you can take examination tension-free.
