ALL INDIA ENTRANCE TEST FOR PG ADMISSIONS (NUPGET -2015) :
Nitte University will be conducting the Nitte University All India Entrance Test, NUPGET-2015 on 02-02-2015(Monday) for candidates seeking admission to MD/MS and MDS courses in its constituent colleges, namely K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, for the academic year 2015-16. Eligible candidates desiring to appear for the Entrance Test may submit the application online, available on our website www.nitte.edu.in as per the procedure stated in the Brochure and by sending Rs. 3,000/- by way of DD favouring “Nitte University” payable at Mangaluru along with a passport size coloured photograph and print copy of two Page application duly signed, to the Entrance Test Cell, Nitte University, Deralakatte, Mangaluru– 575 018 by Speed Post.

Admission to MD/MS and MDS courses offered by Nitte University is based on Merit in the All India Entrance Test for PG courses NUPGET – 2015 conducted by the University. Based on inter se Merit in the Entrance Test, eligible students will be admitted to MD/MS and MDS program in the constituent colleges, namely, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, respectively, during the year 2015-16.

Eligibility:
Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for the Entrance Test, namely:
** Applicants must meet all the requirements stipulated by MCI / DCI from time to time.
** They should have successfully passed their MBBS / BDS from an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI.
** They must have completed or be completing their internship by 30th April 2015 at the latest.
** The minimum percentage of marks in the NUPGET – 2015 shall be 50% for General Merit candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (All India)
** They should have obtained permanent registration with the MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical / Dental Council as well as that of Karnataka State.

Entrance Test Fee :
The candidate is required to pay the Entrance Test fee of Rs. 3,000/- through A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “NITTE UNIVERSITY” payable at MANGALURU.

Submission :
The application should be filled and submitted online with all relevant information. Thereafter a print out of the same after affixing the signature of the candidate along with the DD and recent passport size colored photograph should be submitted by speed post to the Entrance Test Cell, Nitte University, Deralakatte, Mangaluru (D.K) – 575 018.

Test Admission Ticket (TAT) for the Entrance Test will be sent by post to the postal address furnished by the candidate in the Application.
