THE MERIT LISTS ARE DRAWN AS PER THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE CANDIDATES IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION IN THE SUBMITTED APPLICATION WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN ANY CASE.

THE STATE MERIT RANK WILL NEVER BE CHANGED.

All categories of candidates qualified and Accepted for counselling for VET 2015 for admission into B.V.Sc & AH will personally attend the counselling on 14th July, 2015 (Tuesday) in M.C. Das Memorial Auditorium, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat at 9.00am.

CANDIDATES WHO QUALIFIED IN VET 2015 BUT FAILED TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FORM ONLINE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND THE COUNSELLING.

Candidates under NEC, VLEW, VFA, FD and candidates for undergraduate degree programmes in Horticulture and Sericulture under the ” Rest of India” quota will personally attend the counselling on 14th July, 2015 (Tuesday) in M.C. Das Memorial Auditorium, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat at 9.00am.

Candidates securing 80 percent and above in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in State Merit Rank List and Son/Daughters of Martyrs for all graduate programmes will personally attend the counselling on 15th July, 2015 (Wednesday) in M.C. Das Memorial Auditorium, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat at 9.00am.

Candidates securing below 80 percent but above 75 percent in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in State Merit Rank List will personally attend the counselling on 16th July, 2015 (Thursday) in M.C. Das Memorial Auditorium, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat at 9.00am.

Candidates securing below 75 percent but above 70 percent in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and in case of ST (Hills) Category above 65 percent in State Merit Rank List will personally attend the counselling on 17th July, 2015 (Friday) in M.C. Das Memorial Auditorium, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat at 9.00am.

NRI and NRI sponsored candidates, Kashmiri Migrants for all degree programmes and candidates under Higher Fee Category will personally attend the counselling on 17th July, 2015 (Friday) in M.C. Das Memorial Auditorium, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat at 9.00am.

Failure to report to the Selection Committee in the Counselling as per Rank and time schedule shall have no claim for the seat

The Higher Fee Category Quota are allotted with a rider that no more than 5 (five) seats to any particular State of NE Region.

The Tea Husbandry Quota are allotted with a rider that no more than 2 (two) seats to any particular State.

Candidates, if selected, shall have to take admission immediately after the counselling on payment of necessary fees as given in the INFORMATION BULLETIN. A candidate failure to take admission on the day shall forfeit the seat.

The candidate shall have to submit the Confirmation Sheet and the ‘AAU Copy’ of the bank challan in original and self attested photocopy of all relevent testimonials at the time of counselling, failure of which will result in cancellation of his/her candidature. The candidate MUST produce the originals of relevent testimonials at the time of counselling.

In case the seats are exhausted before all candidates appear for counselling, the University will not be responsible for non-availability of seats.
