Applications are invited for admission to the following Post-Graduate Degree Programmes for the Academic year 2015-16 (Both General and partially Self-financing Scheme).

Application form with prospectus may be obtained from The Registrar, Mangalore University, New Administrative Building, Mangalagangothri-574199 or Principal, University College, Mangalore- 575001 or Principal, F.M.K.M.C. College, Madikeri- 571201 or Chairman/ Co-ordinator, P.G Centre, Chikka Aluvara, Kodagu on payment of ‘ 300./- (‘ 150/- for SC/ST/ Category-I on production of Caste Certificate) in person or by post on payment of ‘ 350/- (‘ 200/- for SC/ ST/ Category-I) through Challan/ D.D. in favour of the Finance Officer, Mangalore University along with a self-addressed envelope (40 X 17 c.m.) with the name of the course and the subject superscribed on the cover. Application forms are also available during ?OPEN HOUSE? programme scheduled to be held on 12th and 13th June 2015 at University Campus, Mangalagangothri.

Selection for the following programmes will be based on entrance test which will be held in the respective departments. Entrance test fee is ‘ 300/- (‘ 150/- for SC/ST/ Category-I).

Application and other details are also available in the University website mangaloreuniversity.ac.in. Downloaded applications shall be accompanied by a D.D. towards the prescribed fee. Filled-in applications shall be sent to the Chairman of the respective Department of the University on or before 10-07-2015.

1) Counseling and admission to all Science Departments (including Department with Entrance exam) will be held on 27/28-07-2015, 10.00 a.m. onwards

2) Counseling and admission to all Commerce Departments (including Department with Entrance exam) will be held on 29/30-07-2015, 10.00 a.m. onwards

3) Counseling and admission to all Arts Departments (including Department with Entrance exam) will be held on 31-07-2015, 10.00 a.m. onwards

Note:
1) Those who wish to apply for P.G. Courses at University Department as well as Affiliated Colleges shall submit the application separately on payment of prescribed fee.

2) The candidates those who wish to apply for P.G. courses at University Campus/ P.G. Centre/ Constituent colleges have to submit the original application to which he/she has given the first preference along with original fee challan, xerox copies of Marks card and copy of the Caste/ Income certificate. The xerox copy of the application along with copies of the challan, Marks card and Caste / Income certificate should be submitted to the concerned department for which he/she has given II and III preference.

3) If the candidates are applying for more than one course shall pay ‘ 100/- extra for each subject (‘ 50 for SC/ST/Cat- I students).

4) Students are instructed to bring the original documents and required fees on the day of counseling itself and remit the fees through bank challan.
