Admission to MCA Programme 2015 at Mesra and its Off Campuses at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur (Ranchi City) and Noida

The seat allotment has been made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in MCA 2015 Online Entrance Test conducted by the Institute on 24th May 2015 at various cities.

Guidelines for the candidates who have got seat allotment at any of the Campus

These candidates should note the following:
1. Candidates may check their individual seat allotment by entering Application Number and Date of Birth on the Institute website.

2. All candidates who have got seat allotment in MCA programme (in 1st round) at any of the Campus must report in person at the allotted campus by 15th June 2015 to complete the admission formalities, failing which your admission offer will be cancelled and will not be eligible for up-gradation in the subsequent round of seat allotment (if any).

3. At the time of admission, selected candidates would be required to submit the originals of the following documents and certificates.
(a) Pass Certificate and Marksheet of Class 10
(b) Marksheet of Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent
(c) Marksheets of Graduation for graduates

OR

Marksheets upto pre-final year for candidates graduating in 2015. They must also bring a appearing certificate in original from the Principal of Institute stating that:
(i) by 30 June 2015, (s)/he will have appeared for examination in all subjects required for obtaining his/her qualifying degree.
(ii) (s)/he has obtained requisite marks or equivalent based on latest available grades / marks.
(iii) Undertaking – Please see below*

(d) Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distancelearning programmes must carry proof of pass certificate, marksheets of qualifying examination and approval of DEC (Distance Education Council).
(e) Admit Card for the MCA 2015 Online Entrance Test
(f) Score Card of the MCA 2015 Online Entrance Test
(g) Caste certificate (if applicable), which should be in proper format and signed by appropriate authority of rank not less than SDO.
(h) Candidates belonging to other special categories [Person with Disability (PwD) / Ward of BIT Employee] must provide photocopy of certificate in proper format from appropriate authority.
(i) College Leaving Certificate
(j) Migration Certificate

*Provisionally selected candidates who are appearing for their final examinations in 2015 will be required to submit an undertaking at the time of admission on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 20/-, countersigned by their guardian, to the effect that if they fail to obtain requisite marks in Honours / aggregate in graduation their admission will be cancelled. The deadline for submission of mark-sheet / degree certificate is 31st October 2015, failing which the provisional admission will be automatically cancelled. Total fees payable at the time of admission:
Provisionally selected candidates will be required to deposit an amount of Rs.1,19,000/- for admission to MCA programme at Mesra, and Rs.1,06,500/- for admission to MCA programme at its other Off Campuses.
All payments must be made by crossed demand draft in favour of Birla Institute of Technology,
** Payable at Ranchi, in case of Mesra or Lalpur Campus
** Payable at Allahabad in case of Allahabad Campus
** Payable at Jaipur in case of Jaipur Campus
** Payable at Kolkata in case of Kolkata Campus
** Payable at Noida in case of Noida Campus

Hostel facilities are provided only at the Main Campus at Mesra Campus. Hostel mess charges at BIT Mesra Campus will be approximately Rs.2,500/- per month. Students at BIT Mesra will be required to deposit Hostel Caution Money (One Time only – Refundable) of Rs.5,000/- .They will also be required to pay suitable mess advance at the beginning of each semester, which will be adjusted against their mess charges. For the July 2015 session, this mess advance* will be Rs.15,000/- (for boys), Rs.10,000/- (for Girls).

*Hostel Caution Money (One Time only – Refundable) and Hostel Mess Advance (each semester) are payable by crossed Demand Draft in favour of “BIT Hostels Mess Account” payable at Ranchi.

Classes will commence from 22nd July 2015 at all Campuses.

Admission will be offered subject to submission & verification of original documents / certificates at the time of admission.
