MGM University MGMU PET
MGMU-PET Ph.D Admission is Conducted by MGM University. The MGMU-PET-2024 will be conducted in the online mode in the MGM University Campus. Candidates who have completed a 1-year/2-semester master’s degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme r a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme. MGMU PET-2024 will be conducted on 08 June, 2024. Last Date for submission Of Application is 3rd June 2024.

Eligibility Criteria of MGMU PET
Candidates who have completed:
** A 1-year/2-semester master’s degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed
** Equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of the educational institution.
** A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
** Provided that a candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
** A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
** Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade
Instructions for PET
MGMU PET-2024 will be conducted on 08 June, 2024 at 11.00 am.as per the provisions of MGM University Ph.D. Ordinance No.-01 of 2023 for carrying out the admission to Ph.D. programs offered by colleges/Institutes/departments of the MGM University for the AY 2024-25.
The Test will comprise of two parts as under:
** Part- I Research Methodology. There will be 50MCQs to be attempted in 1 hour. Each question will carry 2 marks. There will be no negative marking.
** Part-II – Subject Specific Test. There will be 50 MCQs to be attempted in one hour. Each question will carry 2 marks. There will be no negative marking. This will be given to student as per the choice of his/her subject for the program.
Application for MGMU-PET-2024: Applications for the MGMU-PET-2024 are being received online through the Website of the MGM University. MGMU-PET-2024 Registration fee is Rs. 5000/- which will be paid online on the ERP.
Intimation to candidates about the date & time of the PET: e-admit cards will be generated by the ERP cell. The admit card will give date/time of the tests, link for mock tests and the instructions for taking the test.
Mock tests will be conducted on 06 June, 2024 at 11.00 am.as per the program given to the candidates.
Late login: Candidate can log in late up to 15 mins only from the start time. Thereafter, they will not be allowed to appear in the test. This will be mentioned in the test instructions given in the e-admit card.
Issue of Score Card : The candidates will be issued their score card of the MGMU-PET-2024 after the result is approved by the Hon’ble Vice-chancellor of MGM University/
Merit List : The selection of Candidates based on the entrance test conducted by the MGM University (MGMU-PET-2024), a weightge of 70 % for the entrance test and 30 % for the performance in the interview/Vivo-Voce conducted by the faculty wise Committee.

Guidelines :
** Personal Profile – The name of the candidate and his/her parents must be the same as mentioned on their class 10th certificate. (No prefix should be used).
** Contact details should be accurate.
** Academic Profile* – Marks obtained in qualifying examination & last attended school.
** The marks of the qualifying national entrance tests / Maharashtra CET/ MGMU CET along with documents should be uploaded within 15 days of the results being announced.
** Candidates who fail to do so will not be considered for the admissions.
** Upload Documents -Candidates must upload scanned copies of the required documents in the MGMU admission portal.
** Payment of application fees – Rs 1500/-through online mode only. (Net banking/Card/UPI).
