TNAU Undergraduate Admission

UG Undergraduate Admission 2024-25 is conducted by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University TNAU. Candidates should have passed ALL the subjects in Academic stream of the Qualifying Examination with 10+2 years of schooling under Board of Higher Secondary Education of Government of Tamil Nadu / CBSE / CISCE / other State Government Boards / other International Boards. Submission Of Online Application to TNAU is Mandatory for getting admission in constituent and affiliated colleges through counseling and management quota. Last Date for Application is 06th June 2024.

Eligibility of Undergraduate Admission

Educational Qualifications :
Candidates should have passed ALL the subjects in Academic stream of the Qualifying Examination with 10+2 years of schooling under Board of Higher Secondary Education of Government of Tamil Nadu / Central Board of Secondary Education / Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations / other State Government Boards / other International Boards that are recognized as eligible (based on the subject eligibility) for the following degree programs
1. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture
2. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture – Tamil Medium
3. B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture
4. B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture – Tamil Medium
5. B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry
6. B.Sc. (Hons.) Food, Nutrition and Dietetics
7. B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering)
8. B.Sc. (Hons.) Sericulture
9. B.Tech.(Food Technology)
10. B.Tech.(Biotechnology)
11. B.Tech.(Energy and Environmental Engineering)
12. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri-Business Management
13. B.Tech.(Bioinformatics) and
14. B.Tech. (Agricultural Information Technology)

Age Limit :
Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year (i.e. as of 01.07.2024). However, for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Caste -Arunthathiyars (SCA), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) there is NO AGE LIMIT. Five years of age relaxation will be given for differently abled candidates.

How to Apply for UG Admission?

** Please visit to www.tnagfi.ucanapply.com and click on New Registration
1. Enter the details of your Name, Date of Birth, Mobile No, Email id and Create password for your registration.
2. Enter the captcha which you see in the display and fill it in the captcha box.
3. Click on Sign up Option.

1. In Registration Details, check all the details before confirm.
2. Click CONFIRM Button.

1. After Registration is done, activate your account through OTP sent to your mobile or by your registered email id. using your username and password.
2. Click SUBMIT.
** Click on MY Application Icon
** Make a tick in the box and click the “Proceed to Application” icon.
** Click on the Applicant Detail and enter all your Basic details.
** Enter all your details
** Furnish the required Data
** Enter your Address and Click Save & Proceed
** Provide your School details
** Enter your marks
** Provide Sports details if Applied
** Prioritize your Colleges and Courses option
** Save your Colleges and Courses Preference & proceed

1. Upload the required documents.
2. Click on save and proceed.
** Kindly verify all the data entered by you before submitting the Application.
** Once it is submitted no modifications can be done.
** Click on the submit button.

Required Documents for UG Admissions

CHECKLIST OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED BY CANDIDATES AT THE TIME OF CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION
1. 10th Mark sheet / Birth Certificate as Proof of Birth
2. 12th Mark sheet
3. Community Certificate
4. Nativity Certificate for candidates who are native of Tamil Nadu but studied 10th, 11th and12th Standard outside Tamil Nadu
5. First Graduate Certificate, for those who are applying for First Graduate Fee Concession
6. Certificate of Proof for having studied in State Government Schools of Tamil Nadu fromVI standard to XII standard, if applicable
7. Signed Application Form

Note:
1. Originals must be produced for all the self-attested photocopies for verification. Only verified candidates will be considered for counseling.
2. Candidates who have applied for seat under Differently Abled / Ex-servicemen / Eminent Sportsperson are required to submit Originals of the necessary documents and Annexures at the time of verification which will be intimated later.
3. Candidates who have applied for seat under Industry Sponsorship / Non-Resident Indian (NRI)Quota are required to submit necessary original documents and Annexures at the time of verification which will be intimated later.
4. All other candidates are required to submit necessary documents and Annexures at the time of certificate verification on the day of counseling.
