DPSRKP Class 9 Admission Test
Class 9 Admission Test 2024-2025 is conducted by DPSRKP Delhi Public School R K Puram New Delhi. Successful completion of Class 8 students can apply for Admission Test. Applicants can only register Online by clicking the “Online Registration” link on the school website starting from Thursday, 1st February, 2024. Last Date of Registration is 21st March 2024.

Eligibility of Class 9 Admission Test
** Successful completion of Class 8
** Resident of Delhi-NCR Only
** Minimum Age – 13 Years
Admission Criteria of Class 9 Admission Test
(a) Online Registration: Thursday, 1st February, 2024 to Thursday, 21st March 2024
(b) Applicants can only register Online by clicking the “Online Registration” link on the school website starting from Thursday, 1st February, 2024. Any application/request received prior to Thursday, 1st February, 2024 in any form will not be considered/accepted as registration for the admission in the Academic Session 2024-2025.
(c) Minimum Age: As per the minimum age mentioned in the table above.
(d) Eligibility: Successful completion of class 8.
(e) Mode of selection: Class 9 admissions will be based on the (i) Successful completion of class 8 (ii) Merit Position in the result of the Admission Test to be conducted on Tuesday, 26th March, 2024 and (iii) Verification of documents of shortlisted candidates.
Note: Every year, we have more applicants than the number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection on his/her calibre.
Schedule of Class 9 Admission Test
Online Registration Thursday, 1st February, 2024 to Thursday, 21st March 2024
Admission Test Date Tuesday, 26th March 2024
Admission List will be displayed on the school website Tuesday, 26th March 2024 After 7 p.m.
Admission Formalities (To be completed at the admission office of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi) Wednesday 27th March 2024 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Fee Details of Class 9 Admission Test
** A demand draft/online payment of ₹ 95,000/- in favour of DPS R.K. Puram, payable at New Delhi, to be submitted out of the total school fee (approx. ₹ 2,35,000/-# excluding transport fee). This amount will be adjusted against the fee for the academic session 2024-2025. The balance amount will be paid in subsequent installments. A detailed Fee Bill will be issued in the due course of time.
** The school fee will be charged from the beginning of the session (April 2024).
** On submission of the School leaving certificate, Tuition fee will be charged from the month of date of admission or ‘the school leaving date/fee paid up to month’ mentioned on the Transfer Certificate, whichever is earlier.
Required Documents of Class 9 Admission Test
Documents and other essential items to be submitted
(For Selected Applicants – Provisional Admission)
(i) School Enrolment form duly filled and signed by the parents of the candidate.
Note: It is compulsory to fill PEN (Permanent Education Number) and UDISE number in the Admission Form. PEN number and UDISE number will be available from the school last attended.
(ii) A self attested photocopy of the Class 8 Half Yearly Result* Marksheet.
* Confirmation of Admission is subject to the final result of Class 8 and submission of the Final Result Marksheet.
(iii) Two passport size photographs of the student, and two each of both father & mother.
(iv) Self Attested photocopy of residence proof. (Only Resident of Delhi-NCR will be eligible)
Any one of the following:
UID (Aadhar Card)/ Voters Identity Card / Passport (Original documents must be produced for verification.)
(v) Medical Form duly filled and signed by parents and a registered Medical Practitioner.
(vi) Undertaking form duly filled and signed by parents.
(vii) Character Certificate from Head of the Institution last attended, to be submitted within 15 days after taking the admission.
(viii) Transfer Certificate# (in original), duly countersigned by the Inspector of Schools of the respective area, to be submitted within 15 days after taking the admission. #The admission will remain provisional till the Transfer Certificate (In Original) and Character (In Original) are submitted.
Instructions to Applicants for Class 9 Admission Test
Important instructions to the applicants appearing for the Admission Test:
** Reporting Time for the Admission Test: 08:20 am
** It is compulsory for each applicant to carry the following, which will be verified at the School Gate
i) A printout of Online Registration Slip
ii) A valid Original Identity Card/Aadhaar Card/Passport with a photograph of self.
iii) Water in a transparent bottle
** The candidate will not be allowed to sit for the test if the identity document is not found in order.
** Applicants must carry a blue/black ball pen for marking answers on an OMR Answer sheet.
** Important: Any personal belongings other than those, which are mentioned above, such as Papers, Notebooks, Bags, Mobile phones, Watches and other Electronic Gadgets are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the examination rooms. School will not make any arrangements for keeping the applicants’ belongings outside the examination room/inside the school campus.
** Every examination room is equipped with a Wall Clock.
** Candidates will be allowed only with a blue/black ball pen, photo identity proof and printout of the Online Registration Slip.
Important :
(a) Parents will certify that all the information provided by them is correct. If the information is found to be incorrect or false, their ward shall be automatically debarred from the selection / admission process and appropriate action will be taken accordingly.
(b) It may be noted by parents that the application / registration / shortlisting does not guarantee admission to their ward.
(c) The school provides transport facilities only on request by parents, but there is no assurance that a seat in the school bus will be made available when the buses are already running in full capacity or do not ply to the area of residence. Transport once provided will not be discontinued during the academic session by the parents. However, the school reserves the right to change the school bus route or cancel the transport facility depending on the situation.
(d) It is expected that all students would have studied three languages till Class 8 and she/he has passed in the third language. The School Administration reserves the right to offer admission to meritorious applicants only.
The school will not entertain any request for change of Second Language after the selection of the candidate for admission since there are limited seats in the second languages (Hindi/ Sanskrit/ French/ German/ Spanish) being offered by the school.
(e) Parents will accept the process of admission undertaken by the school and abide by the decision taken by the school authorities.
(f) Schedule/Criteria mentioned above is subject to change.
