TGCET Telangana Gurukul (VTG) CET
The Telangana Government is providing quality education to the students of underprivileged, downtrodden and weaker sections of the society equally with the other developed sections to bring out the naturally hidden talents of the students there by preparing them to face the challenges of the 21st century. Applications are invited for admission into class V (English Medium, Telangana State syllabus) in (643) Residential Schools run by various Residential Educational Institutional Societies in Telangana State. Entrance Test will be held on 11-02-2024.

Eligibility Criteria of TGCET
Age:
A. Candidates belong to OC and BC categories should be born between 01-09-2013 and 31-08-2015 (9 years should be completed but less than 11 years).
B. SC and ST candidates should be born between 01-09-2011 and 31-08-2015 (9 years should be completed and less than 13 years).
C. SC Converted Christians/ BC-C candidates who were born between 01-09-2011 and 31-08-2015 are eligible for admission in Social Welfare Residential schools.
D. Annual Income of the parents should be below Rs. 1,50,000 in rural areas and Rs. 2,00,000 in urban areas.
E. Candidates who are studying in 4th class in the academic year 2023-24 are only eligible to apply. (Candidates should upload a bonafide / study certificate of 4th class of this year)
Process of Application for TGCET
1. The candidates can apply through any one of the following websites after verification of eligibility criteria.

2. 1.Name of the Candidate 2.Date of Birth 3. Mobile Number (Must Enter Parents Mobile number only – Net centre number should not be given) 4. Concerned District (Old District).
A Reference ID will be given after paying the registration fee Rs.100/- (Net banking/Debit card/ Credit card), and immediately application form will be shown.
All the details should be filled in the application. Hall tickets can be downloaded 10 days prior to the entrance test. Mobile number which is entered for a student will not be accepted for another student application.
3. Due to any reason (power cut / system breakdown) unable to fill the application before the last date, using reference ID and Date of Birth, application form can be filled and get the hall ticket.
4. If Getting Reference ID is not applying for the entrance test. The ID Number is only for the information on the payment of application fee. If the application is not filled, hall ticket will not be downloaded. Without a hall ticket no one is permitted in any examination centre.
5. Candidates can apply online from 18-12-2023 to 23-01-2024
6. After filling online application Hall tickets are available to download 10 days prior to the entrance test. The candidates have to preserve a printout of the hall ticket.
7. Sample application form is given in Annexure IV. The candidate has to take a photo along with filled sample application before submitting in online. The candidate has to sign below the photograph and upload as shown in online.
8. The candidates have to get their original Caste and Birth certificates before fill the application form. If the original certificates are not available at the time of applying, they have to get them by the time of admission. Original certificates should submit at the time of admission compulsorily. If not selection will be cancelled and admission will not be given.
9. The application forms which are sent to any of the residential schools, residential societies and not filled online will not be considered and such candidates are not allowed to write the entrance test.
10. Candidates have to go through the seat matrix carefully and check how many seats are available for each caste in the four (4) Residential Educational Institutions Societies and select their priority accordingly.
11.In the same way your daughter/son name, Date of Birth, Gender should be recorded carefully.
