Eligibility Criteria For National Law University AILET Admissions
National Law University Admissions AILET Eligibility Criteria :
B.A.LL.B.(HONS.) [Five-Year Programme]
Eligibility:
** Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities).
** Candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2023 are eligible to apply.
Total Seats:
** 110+10 (110 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit).
** Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempt from the AILET, but should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
Additional Supernumerary Seats:
** One seat for Kashmiri Migrants and two seats for residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
LL.M. [One Year Programme]
Eligibility:
** LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).
** Candidates appearing for final year LL.B. annual examination in 2023 are eligible to apply.
Total Seats:
** 70+10 (70 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit).
** Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempt from the AILET.
Additional Supernumerary Seats: One seat for Kashmiri Migrants
Ph.D. PROGRAMME
Eligibility:
LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).
Total Seats:
** 14+2 (UGC-JRF: 5 seats, AILET Merit -5 seats, Fellowship through AILET Merit -4 seats and Foreign Nationals-2 Seats).
** UGC-JRF Candidates and Foreign Nationals are exempt from the AILET.
** The University will follow reservation policies as per the UGC Regulations.

** Application fee in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) is Rs.1500/-(Rupees One thousand Five Hundred Only).
** Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee

AILET-2023 will be conducted at the following cities: Bengaluru, Bilaspur ** (Chhattisgarh), Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai,Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Goa, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal,
Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kota, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune,Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Shimla, Siliguri, Silchar, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
** In case the number of the candidates in any city is less than 100, then a test centre shall not be created in that city and candidates will be allotted a centre as per their 2nd/3rd city preference indicated in the application form.
