INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES TO FILL IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM :
Candidates should read the Prospectus carefully before filling up and submitting the application online.

Candidates need to fill in and submit applications online on or before 17.06.2015 (5.00 pm)

All fields in the application should be correctly and completely filled in.

Candidates should ensure that correct particulars of date of birth, community, marks and nativity are furnished by him/her in the application.

On scrutiny, if any of these particulars furnished in the application are found incorrect:
I. He/she will forfeit the admission to the course itself no matter at what stage of the course he/she may be at that time.

II. He/she will be debarred from pursuing any course of study of this University and other Universities of Tamil Nadu for a period of three years.

III. Legal action will be initiated against him/her for furnishing wrong information. Admission is subject to verification of mark certificates by the Director of Government Examinations and if the mark certificate is found to be bogus, admission is liable for cancellation besides criminal action being taken.

Click on “Admission” Link and download the Prospectus and read carefully

Click on “Online Application” Link and read the instructions carefully.
Step-4
Click on “Apply Now” button and fill in the application
Step-5
Click on “Save” button if you need to make any changes or click on “Submit” button if all the particulars are furnished correctly.

Step-6
After clicking “Submit” button, make payment. Now you will receive SMS confirming successful submission of application along with your Login ID and Application Number.

Using your Login ID you can download and take the printout of your application any time.

You should use the Application Number for any official correspondences to the University.

Candidates not receiving SMS/e-mail even after successful submission may contact the Admission Committee through e-mail / phone (ugadmission@tnfu.org.in / 04365-240558; 0461-2341552). No correspondence will be entertained in any form.

The candidates who had successfully downloaded and printed the online application have to affix a recently taken passport size photograph in the space provided and get it signed by a Group A or Group B officer or the Head of the Institute last studied. The candidate and his/her parent/guardian must sign the declaration in the space provided in the application.

The candidate must bring this downloaded, photo affixed and duly signed application and the following certificates* at the time of counselling only along with originals and two sets of attested copies only at the time of counselling.
*1). HSC / CBSE / other equivalent mark sheet,
*2). Transfer Certificate,
*3). Community Certificate** (For OC candidates community certificate not required)
*4). Certificates for Special categories, if required,
*5). Nativity Certificate if required
*6). First Graduate Certificate and Joint declaration form, if required.

**Community Certificate is subject to verification by the District Vigilance Committee of the district concerned and if the community of the candidate is found to be untrue, admission is liable for cancellation besides criminal action being taken.

Candidates applying under sports category should send the attested copies of all the sports certificates for the last 4 years along with filled in Appendix II-A form, (given in the prospectus) by post to the Chairman, UG Admission Committee, Tamil Nadu Fisheries University, First Line Beach Road, Nagapattinam-611 001 so as to reach on or before 17.06.2015 (5.00 pm).

In case of revaluation / re-totaling in respect of qualifying examination, the attested copy of revaluation / re-totaling mark certificate should be sent to the Chairman, UG Admission Committee, Tamil Nadu Fisheries committee, First line beach road, Nagapattinam-611 001 so as to reach on or before 17.06.2015 (5.00 pm).

For all correspondences, mention the Login ID, and Name of the applicant already submitted through online.

No addition, deletion or alteration of any particulars relating to the application is permitted after the online submission of the application through online.
