How to Apply :
What all do you need to do for completing the Online application process for applying for admissions in Departments of Patna University.
As an applicant you would need the following:
1. A Mobile Number/e-mail id for registration and for receiving all future notifications/communications/ correspondence/ information related to the online application form.
2. Access to facilities of computer with internet connectivity, B/W printer and scanner.
3. A recent passport sized colour photograph (To be scanned for uploading in “jpeg” format only. File size of scanned photograph should not be more than 50KB).
4. Your signature using Blue/Black pen on white sheet (To be scanned for uploading in “jpeg” format only. File size of scanned signature should not be more than 50KB).
5. Access to an online payment facility / service such as
I. Net Banking
II. Credit card
III. ATM-cum-Debit card
IV. If you do not have Net Banking facility/Credit Card or ATM-cum Debit Card, you can pay the fee in cash at any branch of Allahabad Bank through the Challan downloaded from the Admission Portal. You will be able to download the duly filled up Allahabad Bank challan from the Admission Portal only when you select the “cash payment” option while filling the application form online.

Step 1: Please click on “Apply Online Application for MLET ” portal at patnauniversity.ac.in
Step 2: On clicking the link, you will be directed to a new page having an Applicant Login Box. Below the login fields there is a link “Register Yourself”. Please click on this link.
Steps to be followed for filling the online application:
Before proceeding to fill up the online application form, please ensure that you have the required details and scanned image files of your
(i) recent passport size colour photograph [as specified at para 3 above]
(ii) signature [as specified at para 4 above], which will be needed at different stages of process.
The entire process of filling online application form can be completed in stages given below :
1. Online admission application form must be filled up through University Portal (patnauniversity.ac.in) for online application process.
2. If you choose to apply for the LL.M. course [do it after confirming your eligibility, given in the ordinances uploaded on the website], application form will appear on the screen. Fill up the details in the application form which will have following sections:
i. Applicant Details
ii. Correspondence Address and Details of Parents
iii. Your Preference of – LL.M.
iv. Upload scanned image file of your Photograph and Signature [as specified above]
v. Final Review of details entered in the Application Form and if they are correct then ‘Confirm’ the submission. Else, edit the details before confirming submission.
vi. Fee Payment & application Submission All applicants should note, that:
1. Printout of online submitted application form along with receipt of payment is to be submitted to the University. The candidates should also retain a copy of the said documents for their own record.
2. Printout of on-line application along with relevant documents e.g. copy of marksheet and certificates are required to be submitted to the Head, P.G. Department of Law, Patna University, Patna – 800 005 through speed post / registered post. The envelop should be marked MLET – 2016.
3. Original certificates issued by competent authority supporting your filled in details will be asked from you ONLY at the time of verification of documents at the time of admission.
4. If data provided in the online application is not supported by appropriate documents then your application / claim for admission shall be summarily rejected.
5. Admit card for MLET 2016 can be downloaded by the applicants from the website of Patna University. The applicant will carry down loaded Admit card alongwith one more photocopy/Xerox copy on which his/her present. Passport size coloured photograph (same as uploaded online) will be pasted in the given blank space for if to the examination hall.
6. The applicant must bring any of identity card like Adhar Card, Election Voter ID, Driving License or if any alongwith downloaded admit card.
