PG Counseling :

As many numbers of seats in PG (Medical) courses in the academic session 2016-17 are lying vacant a SPOT counseling shall be held on 30.05.2016 and 31.05.2016, from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM, in the Institute of Engineers, Sachivalaya Marg, Bhubaneswar.

The reporting time is 9.00AM to 10.00AM. The details of the schedule and the seat matrix will be notified in the website of DMET, Odisha

Procedure Of Spot Counselling :
1. All merit listed candidates are allowed to participate in Spot Counselling and they have to download Admit Card using their username and password. They have to submit two copies of the duly signed admit card at the counselling venue.

2. The procedure of the counselling shall be:
i. Candidates shall be selected on basis of merit from each category for admission by counselling and the order of counselling shall be ST (in-service), SC (in service), PH (in-service), Defence (in-service) Green Card (in-service), General (in service), ST (Direct), SC (Direct), PH (Direct), Defence (Direct), Green Card (Direct), General (Direct) candidates.

ii. In case of non-availability of any eligible in-service candidates in reserve category, the unfilled reserved seats will be filled up by In-service General candidates.

iii. In case of non availability of eligible candidates in In-Service (General) category such unfilled seats will be filled up by the Direct Category candidates. During such conversion the respective reserve category of seats will be maintained.

iv. In case of non-availability of any eligible direct candidates in reserve category, such unfilled seats will be filled up by Direct General candidates.

Provided that when a candidate wants to surrender a seat he can do so before or during the counselling. Such surrendered seats will be treated as follows. If surrendered before counselling starts:
a. All the All India seats will be equally divided between direct and in-service and reservation will be maintained. All the State Quota seats will be as-it-is available to respective category candidates.

If surrendered during counselling:
a. All India seat will be treated as UR
b. Reserved State Quota Seat if surrendered during counselling of the same reserved category, it will be treated as a reserve category seat and will be available to next reserved candidates in the merit list if available.
c. Reserved State Quota Seat if surrendered during counselling of the UR category, will be treated as a UR seat and will be available to next UR candidates in the merit list if available.

3. Candidates making a new admission must bring all the original documents including bank draft for admission fees. Candidates already admitted shall bring the earlier admission letter and differential fees if any. No admission shall be done without CLC. No custodian certificate for original documents will be accepted.

4. An All India Candidate after resigning if join in same college, no CLC will be required if submitted earlier. But if he/she chooses other college shall bring the CLC from the college authority.
5. Any candidate if attends the counselling late after the starting of counselling, then he will be allowed to participate and he can chose a seat available at that point of time. No rewinding will be done.
6. Video coverage will be done during the counselling process for compliance to Hon’ble Court.
7. All the admissions are subject to outcome of the different WP(C)s filed before Hon’ble Court.

Documents required to be deposited at the time of reporting for provisional admission.
1. Two copies of downloaded admit card for Spot counselling along with a Photo ID card.

2. Original SBI Bank Draft towards admission fees, drawn in favor of “Convener PG (Medical) Counseling and Admission Committee 2016-17” payable at Cuttack. For Govt. Medical College 40,000/- and for Hi-tech MC Bhubaneswar – non-clinical subjects (Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry) Rs.4, 50, 000/- other subjects Rs. 5, 00, 000/-. Additional fees as applicable shall be deposited at respective institutions)

3. Original CLC from the Institute last attended.
4. Original Green Card (If applicable)
5. Any other document pointed out at the time verification.
6. Candidates who have already deposited fees and taken admission shall submit the earlier admission letter and differential fees if any.
