CET-GADVASU :

Application for CET-GADVASU for B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc./B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) Programmes:

Candidate has to apply online for CET-GADVASU 2016. The University prospectus will be available at GADVASU website. Candidate should visit gadvasu.in or gadvasuadmissions.com to apply online. The candidate neither needs to purchase the separate prospectus nor fill the form manually.

Online Application along with requisite fee should be submitted by the candidates desirous of appearing in the CET-GADVASU by the date and time as specified.

Admission :
Online Applications are invited for admission to the following Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes of this University for the academic session 2016-17 as per eligibility given against each:-

UNDERGRADUATE : (Only for candidates having residence of Punjab or Union Territory of Chandigarh)
B.V.Sc. & A.H. 5-year programme
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Indian Board/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST and BC categories) excluding optional subject.

B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) 4-year programme
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Indian Board/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST and BC categories) excluding optional subject.

B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) 4-year programme
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English from a recognized Indian Board/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST and BC categories) excluding optional subject.
Note: Candidate must ensure that he/she has studied same subjects at 10+1 & 10+2 levels.

POSTGRADUATE :
M.V.Sc.
Animal Genetics & Breeding, Animal Nutrition, Livestock Production Management, Livestock Products Technology, Veterinary Anatomy, Veterinary Biochemistry, Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology, Veterinary Physiology, Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology, Veterinary Surgery & Radiology, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension Education.

The minimum qualification for admission to M.V.Sc. programmes in College of Veterinary Science (other than in-service candidates) shall be B.V.Sc. & A.H. or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA/OGPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

M.V.Sc. (Animal Biotechnology)/ M.Sc. (Biotechnology)
The minimum qualification for admission to M.V.Sc. (Animal Biotechnology)/M.Sc. (Biotechnology) programme (other than in-service candidates) shall be B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.Sc. (Biotechnology/Medical) or B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology and Molecular Genetics or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA/OGPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

M.F.Sc. (Aquaculture, Fisheries Resource Management)
The minimum qualification for admission to M.F.Sc. programmes in the College of Fisheries (other than in-service candidates) shall be B.F.Sc. (4-year degree) from a recognized Institute with minimum OCPA/OGPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

M.Tech. (Dairy Technology)
The minimum qualification for admission to M.Tech. (Dairy Technology) programme in the College of Dairy Science and Technology (other than in-service candidates) shall be B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)/B.Tech. (Food Tech.) (4-years degree) or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

M.Tech (Dairy Engineering)
The minimum qualification for admission to M.Tech (Dairy Engineering) programme in the College of Dairy Science & Technology (other than in-service candidates) shall be B.Tech (Dairy Technology)/Food Engineering/Agricultural Engineering (4 years degree) or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA/OGPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

M.Tech (Dairy Microbiology)
The minimum qualification for admission to M.Tech. (Dairy Microbiology) programme in the College of Dairy Science & Technology shall be B.Tech (Dairy Technology)/B.Tech. (Food Tech.) (4 years degree) or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc. (Dairy Economics)
The minimum qualification for admission to M.Sc. (Dairy Economics) programme in the College of Dairy Science and Technology shall be B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)/B.Sc. Dairying/B.Sc. Dairy Science/B.Sc. Agri. /B.Sc. Agri. (Hons)/B.Sc. or B.A. (Hons) in Economics with Mathematics as one of the subjects/B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.V.Sc./B.Sc. Animal Science with minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Note:
1. For in-service candidates for all Master’s Programmes, the OCPA shall be 5.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

2. If the M.V.Sc./M.Sc./M.F.Sc./M.Tech. seats after filling from Punjab resident candidates at 1st counselling fall vacant, the candidates of other states, who have already applied and appeared in the interview for admission to Master’s programme, will be considered for admission on merit basis at the 2nd counselling of Master’s programme.

Online Application Form for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes along with Prospectus are available at GADVASU website. Prospectus contains all the details regarding eligibility, schedule of Entrance Test/Counselling/ Interview/Admission procedure, reservation of seats etc.

Candidates have to apply online for CET- GADVASU for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc./ B.Tech (Dairy Technology). Candidates are required to visit to apply online. There is no other mode to apply.

Online Application along with requisite fee should be submitted by the candidates by the due date and time for admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. The Candidates need not to purchase or submit the Application form/ Prospectus separately.
